Western Australia has a new millionaire thanks to last night’s Millionaire Medley draw.
A ticket sold from Australind News & Post was the only Division One winner across the country and is worth $1 million.
This Millionaire Medley win comes hot on the heels of a trio of WA tickets that won a Division One Saturday Lotto prize over the weekend.
So far none of these Saturday Lotto tickets have been claimed.
Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender said the Lotterywest winner’s room could be very busy this week.
“It’s so exciting to celebrate four Division One wins for WA players in a matter of days,” she said.
“Last night’s Millionaire Medley win takes our tally for the year to 46 Division One winners sharing in more than $82 million in prizes, which is a great result for WA players.
“In more good news, a Set for Life ticket sold at The Lucky Charm Bassendean won a Division Two prize last night, with that player pocketing $5,000 a month for the next 12 months.”
Thanks to WA players and retailers, Lotterywest delivers hundreds of grants each year to community groups and not-for-profits across the State.
A $24,762 Lotterywest grant is supporting In Town Centre Incorporated to provide food and other crisis and emergency relief to people experiencing financial hardship in the Bunbury region.
WA players have a chance to become a multi-millionaire in the upcoming Saturday Lotto $30 million Megadraw, held on 26 July.
Tickets are available until 6pm on draw day in-store, online and via the Lotterywest App.
