$110 million Powerball gives back to WA community

Three tickets bought in Victoria, NSW and South Australia have taken home $36.7 million each from tonight’s $110 million Powerball jackpot draw.

Although no Western Australian was lucky enough to take out tonight’s multimillion dollar jackpot, it raised more than $19 million for the WA community and  $7.4 million in prize money went back to 436,918 local players across Divisions Two to Seven.

This included two Division Two winning tickets, one worth $55,869.40 from a play online member, and $49,276.10 from a ticket bought at Brentwood Village News.

“While we would have been thrilled for WA to have taken out the Division One prize, the good news is that more than $19 million has been raised over the nine-week jackpot run to support the WA community through Lotterywest grants,” Lotterywest spokesperson Jennie Fitzhardinge said.

“When you play Lotterywest games, there is a ripple effect that benefits the entire community.”

Tonight’s winning numbers were 6, 13, 1, 11, 23, 27, 16 and the Powerball was
11.

The next chance for WA players to win big is on this Tuesday’s OZ Lotto’s $15 million draw.

Tickets can be bought until 6pm day of draw from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app.
