Sculpture by the Sea - 1 - 18 March

The inspiring Sculpture by the Sea is back for 2019 at Cottesloe Beach from 1 to 18 March. Featuring a range of unique and innovative sculptures, there is definitely something for everyone. In addition to the beautiful art, Lotterywest is supporting the event with an Access & Inclusion program. This includes tactile tours, beach access days for people with limited mobility and those using wheelchairs, and Auslan interpreted events. On 13 and 14 March, special matting will be installed to enable visitors with limited mobility and those using wheelchairs to access and experience the sculptures. This event is a WA favourite so head down early to beat the crowds!

Act Belong Commit South West Multicultural Festival - 23 February

The annual South West Multicultural Festival is back again this month to celebrate multiculturalism in the South West with the coming together of culturally diverse communities. There will be performances, art and craft displays and plenty of food!

Hearing Awareness 2019 - 27 February

The Deafness Council Western Australia is holding their annual Hearing Awareness event to highlight Hearing Awareness Week from 25 February - 1 March. There will be guest speakers, a panel of experts, and community representatives with a morning tea provided. There will also be live captions, Hearing Loop and Auslan interpreters provided. This event aims to raise awareness of the Deafness Council WA Inc. in facilitating the work of Deaf/Hearing Impaired individuals and agencies. Find out more here.
