Wanneroo win waiting to be claimed

The search is on as Lotterywest prepares to meet the State’s newest multi-millionaire following the weekend’s $20 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw.

Lotterywest has revealed that Western Australia’s Division One ticket was sold from Wanneroo Winners Lotto Kiosk and was unregistered. This means that Lotterywest is unable to contact the owner to let them know they’re holding on to a ticket, worth over $2.8 million.

This latest win is the second Division One prize produced from Wanneroo Winners Lotto Kiosk this year, after the store celebrated selling a Set for Life Division One prize in May.

Colin Downes from Wanneroo Winners Lotto Kiosk said that the store has been on a bit of a roll after also selling a Division Two prize last week.

“We sold a Division Two prize in Wednesday Lotto, so this Superdraw win along with the Set for Life Division One in May, feels like we’re really getting the hang of selling big winners,” Mr Downes said.

The weekend's Superdraw also saw 19 WA players each collect a Division Two prize worth more than $11,000.

“As it stands, we’ve raised the bat having reached 50 Division One winners this year and we’d love to add more to that tally before the end of the week,” Lotterywest spokesperson Sam Clark said.

“It’s not just our players that win, over $3 million was raised through ticket sales which will go back to the WA community through Lotterywest grants,” he said.
