Powerball problem #73: when you don't know what to do with your Powerball win

What would you do if you won Powerball's Division 1 prize?

We’ve been busily brainstorming ideas; here are a few of our favourites!

  • Build your own rocket to fly into space – because everyone else is taking far too long to get their designs finished.
  • Organise for Ed Sheeran to play at your home when you can’t make his concert.
  • Buy a third mansion to house your Gucci handbag collection – they obviously can’t go with the Prada or Chanel in your second mansion.
  • Fly your guests to Paris to visit the Louvre before dinner – you have to get your conversation starters from somewhere, right?
  • Last, but not least, spoil your family and friends. Life is better shared, and we all know how much more fun it would be to have your favourite people around you to enjoy your private screening of George Clooney’s latest movie – complete with personal waiters, of course.

Now you know what you could do if you’re the lucky winner, where will you buy your tickets? WA’s biggest Powerball win this year was a $20 million ticket, sold at The Mall Newsagency in the City. With the majority of the luckiest locations in the State being south of the river, why not try your luck with a quick trip to the southern suburbs? You never know, you might end up walking away with 100 million reasons why the drive was a great idea!

Tickets are available until 6pm Thursday, so visit your local Lotterywest store, jump online or download the app.
