Wayne and Kerry, the owners of Myaree Newsextra, love the relationships they’ve built over the years in their local Myaree community. With support from their son Ashley, and their two staff members, the team have been running the business for the last 18 years and have seen Lotto change over the years.
In a previous life working at Commonwealth Bank, Wayne decided he wanted to “be his own boss, but then realised quickly, that customers are the boss.”
“We not only see ourselves as a local retailer and newsagency in our local community, but also feel we have a responsibility to give back to our customers and support them with any problem they might have including checking on their wellbeing,” he said.
