Helping to end homelessness in WA

This week is Homelessness Week, with the theme ‘Housing Ends Homelessness’.

Lotterywest provides grants towards organisations working to supporting those experiencing homelessness.

These include;

Ruah Community Services

A $234,453 Lotterywest grant towards the evaluation of the 50 Lives 50 Homes initiative addressing homelessness in Western Australia.

Shelter WA Inc

Lotterywest has supported Shelter WA with $750,000 towards support for the WA Alliance to End Homelessness strategy to improve outcomes for people experiencing homelessness.

Shelter WA Inc

$63,000 - To support Homelessness Week 2019 to enhance services and develop solutions for homelessness in WA.

Sun City Care Incorporated

$116, 310 -  For furniture and equipment to establish the Aaron Close Project, a transitional housing facility for families and single people who are homeless in Geraldton.

Northern Compassion Inc.

$35,181 - Towards costs for equipment and organisational development to improve services to men who are experiencing homelessness and addictions.

St Patrick's Community Support Centre Limited

$982,966 to support renovations, furniture and equipment to establish the Penola Centre, a transitional housing facility for up to 30 homeless men in Rockingham.
