Powerball powers to $60 million jackpot

With no one across the nation matching the winning numbers in tonight’s Powerball jackpot, the game has powered to $60 million which will go on offer next Thursday!

The latest jackpot is the third largest the game has offered this year following $80 million and $100 million jackpots earlier this year.

Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said although the multimillion prize pool was still up for grabs, almost 464,000 WA players had picked up a Powerball prize in the game’s other Divisions over the last six week jackpot roll.

“These players have shared in almost $8.5 million worth of prizes,” she said.

Ms Compagnone said thousands of WA players got behind tonight’s jackpot with close to 400,000 tickets sold across the State.

“When you play Lotterywest games, the money stays in WA,” she said.

“Over the Powerball jackpot roll, more than $7 million has been raised to support the WA community – and this Thursday’s draw is set to raise millions more.”

Tickets are available until 6pm next Thursday from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app.

Players are encouraged to play responsibly and spend only what they can afford. The cost of a ticket can be shared by joining with family, friends or work colleagues to form a syndicate.
