Powerball powers to $50 million, joining a big jackpot week!

After no one across the nation could once again match the Powerball plus all winning numbers in last night’s Powerball jackpot, the game has powered to $50 million!

It seems jackpot fever has hit the nation with the $50 million Powerball offer joining a run of big jackpot activity over the next week which will see a combined $120 million offered.

The next chance at double digit millions is this Saturday with a $20 million Superdraw, before another $50 million jackpot is offered in Tuesday’s OZ Lotto draw.

“It’s unusual to see a run of big events like this but when there is, it generates lots of excitement and anticipation amongst local Lotto punters,” said Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone.

“In fact, we expect over 1.4 million tickets to be purchased across all three draws in Western Australia.”

“What’s more great news is that support from local players buying tickets in these draws from Lotterywest, is also set to raise almost $8.5 million for the WA community.”

Although no WA player took out tonight’s Division One Powerball prize pool, over 126,000 WA players picked up a prize, including three Division Two winners who each scooped over $84,000.

The Division Two tickets were sold at:
• Morley Millions;
• Esperance Lottery and Newsagency; and
• Lotterywest membership online.

Tickets for all upcoming draws are available until 6pm draw day from Lotterywest in-store, online or via the app.

Players are encouraged to play responsibly and spend only what they can afford. The cost of a ticket can be shared by joining with family, friends or work colleagues to form a syndicate.
