OZ Lotto leaps to $70 million, joining a $120 million jackpot week

After six weeks of no one across the nation being able to match all of OZ Lotto’s seven winning numbers, the game has jackpotted to an incredible $70 million.

It’s the highest jackpot to be offered across Australia this year and the fourth largest in Lotto history.

Tonight’s results also join a week of jackpot frenzy with a $50 million Powerball jackpot to be drawn on Thursday.

Although there were no Division One winners tonight, over 100,100 WA players shared in prizes worth over $2.1 million.

This included four Division Two winning tickets each worth almost $25,000.

These tickets were sold at:
• Mundaring Lottery Centre and News;
• The Lucky Charm Bull Creek;
• Woodvale Boulevard Newsagency; and
• Lotterywest membership online.

Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said it wasn’t just thousands of local lottery winners that benefited from tonight’s jackpot, so did the WA community.

“Over the six week jackpot roll support from Lotterywest players buying tickets has helped us to raise almost $6 million for the WA community which will be directed to hundreds not-for-profits, as well as local government authorities, right across the State.”

The winning numbers from tonight’s draw were 7, 26, 25, 40, 10, 13 and 1. The Supplementary Numbers were 38 and 31.

So far this year, WA has welcomed 31 Division One Lotto winners who have shared in almost $74 million worth of prizes.

Players have until 6pm day of draw to purchase tickets in the upcoming $50 million Powerball jackpot and the $70 million OZ Lotto jackpot from Lotterywest in-store, online or through the app.
