OZ Lotto leaps to $50 million jackpot

Tuesday night OZ Lotto has jackpotted to $50 million for the first time since July last year.

It also offers the chance to win the biggest OZ Lotto prize ever won in WA. The WA record for OZ Lotto in WA is $40 million which was won by a south-west family in 2016.

The overall record for WA was a $50 million Powerball jackpot in 2015 that went to a family in Perth’s southern suburbs.

WA had two Division Two winning tickets, one worth $72,965.75 bought at Armadale Newsagency and the other for $72,941.45 from The Lucky Charm Bull Creek.

“WA is definitely on a winning streak,” Lotterywest spokesperson Jennie Fitzhardinge said.

“We’ve had 13 Division One winners and WA players have generated more than $60 million for the WA community already this year.

“The last time OZ Lotto climbed to $50 million was in July 2018, so we have our fingers crossed it will go off next week to a WA winner!”

The winning numbers were 36, 28, 27, 7, 37, 9, 25 and the supplementary numbers were 14 and 21.
