New tattoos for WA’s latest millionaire

A north of the river woman will be celebrating her $1 million Division One Millionaire Medley prize by getting inked with several new tattoos.

The woman in her 20s couldn’t believe her eyes when she was notified through the Lotterywest App that her online ticket had made her an instant millionaire on Monday night.

Winning a seven-figure prize was such an unbelievable thought for the tech savvy winner that she emailed the Lotterywest Customer Services team to make sure it wasn’t a scam.

“I thought I was hallucinating when I saw the number on my screen, I was in such shock,” she said.

“The following morning, I received a phone call verifying it wasn’t a dream and I had won, which was all very surreal.

“I’m only in my 20s, I have a lot of time ahead of me, and this money will help set me up for the future.”

The winner said while adding a few more tattoos to her collection was one of the ways she will be celebrating, she won’t be making her Lotto win a permanent fixture.

“I won’t be getting a tattoo of the Lotterywest logo,” she laughed.

“I have a few different pieces already, so I’d like to add some more.

“Upgrading my gaming system is also something I can have a little bit of fun with.”

Thanks to Western Australian players and retailers, Lotterywest supports communities across the State through its grants program.

Lotterywest is supporting the Volunteer Centre of Western Australia with a $50,000 grant, to help bring people together for the 2025 Volunteering WA State Conference, which will be held in Perth next week.

WA players have the chance to win a life-changing prize tomorrow night in Saturday Lotto’s $20 million Superdraw. Tickets are available until 6pm tomorrow in-store, online or through the Lotterywest App.
