Most popular Lotto ticket making Superdraw millionaires revealed

With our final Superdraw of the year taking place tomorrow night, Lotterywest has revealed Western Australia’s most popular winning ticket entries for Superdraws in 2018.

Tomorrow’s ‘Superdraw Saturday’ will see the weekly Saturday Lotto Division One prize pool bumped from an estimated $4 million, to a guaranteed $20 million.

Over this year’s six Superdraws more than$120 million worth of Division One prizes have gone on offer, and nine Division One winners have been produced throughout the State, totalling almost $15.5 million.

“A majority of these Division One winners, about 70 per cent, have been on Slikpiks, which are numbers that are randomly chosen for the player by the lottery terminal,” Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said.

“The remaining 30 per cent have been numbers chosen by the player which are often based on special dates like birthdays.”

Ms Compagnone said winning ticket entries had ranged from a Slikpik 5 which costs just $3.55, to a System 15 which costs $3,546 but was split between a syndicate of 40 members, with one share in the ticket costing $88.65.

For those players looking for the most frequently drawn winning Superdraw numbers, 10 and 31 have been the most popular, drawn three times, followed by 14, 16, 23 and 27 each drawn twice.

“Support from players buying Lotterywest tickets in these Superdraws has also contributed almost $20 million to support the Western Australian community through Lotterywest grants, which is a great outcome,” Ms Compagnone added.

There’s no sign of things slowing down next week, with an incredible $40 million Powerball jackpot offered on Thursday.

Tickets are available until 6pm draw day from Lotterywest in-store, online and through the app.
