More Division One wins for WA

Two Western Australian tickets won Division One Saturday Lotto prizes over the weekend and are now worth $820,141.

WA’s winning tickets were sold by Phoenix Lotteries in Spearwood and Woodley’s Central Newsagency and Lotteries Centre in Mandurah.

The tickets were two of eight across the country that won Division One in Saturday’s draw.

The State is also celebrating 10 Division Two prizes worth more than $12,000 each.

Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender said it has been an incredible few days for WA players.

“These two Saturday Lotto wins come days after a WA ticket matched the numbers to a $25 million Division One Powerball prize last week, becoming WA’s third significant Powerball win of the year,” she said.

“We cannot wait to welcome these winners to the Lotterywest winners’ room and hear how they are going to enjoy their prizes.

“WA’s Division One winners tally for the year is now at 68 players sharing in more than $160 million in prizes.”

In other good news, a retiree in his 70s is celebrating a $1 million win from a ticket he purchased from The Lucky Charm Waikiki for the Saturday Lotto draw on 4 October.

The man, who had been playing Lotto for over a decade with his wife, visited Lotterywest HQ last week to collect his prize. The couple celebrated together over a cup of coffee while they let the good news sink in.

Thanks to players and retailers across the State, Lotterywest is able to deliver community focussed grants to organisations all over Western Australia.

A Lotterywest grant of $3 million is supporting the recently opened Duncraig Adventure Hub, which has already been abuzz with the local community across the recent school holidays.
