Melville makes WA’s latest Lotto winner

Western Australia has just delivered its twenty second Division 1 Lotto winner for the year.

The unclaimed winning ticket, worth just over $810,000 from Saturday night’s Lotto draw, was produced from Melville Newspower in Bicton.

Owner of the store Damian Loughman said it was the third Division 1 Lotto winner his store had delivered in just four years.

“This is really what we’re here for – creating winners – and it’s a fantastic feeling when you do,” he said.

“It feels like a big win for us too and we’re just thankful for our regular customers who support us every week,” he added.

Mr Loughman said the last big winner his store sold was about 18 months ago and worth an incredible $2.2 million.

“We’re now looking to produce a fourth,” he laughed.

WA’s tally of 22 Division 1 Lotto winners for 2018 has included a $10 million and $20 million win respectively in March.

The next big chance to join the exclusive winners list is just around the corner with the $20 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw on 12 May.

With the Superdraw taking place on Mother’s Day weekend, what better way to spoil mum than with a Mother’s Day gift pack?

The gift pack not only gives you 25 chances to win in the upcoming Superdraw but gives you a $20 BLING scratchie too.

Simply visit your local Lotterywest store to pick one up today.

Remember, when you purchase Lotterywest games, you’re giving back to WA with the majority of funds raised from ticket sales going back to players as prizes, or to supporting the WA community through Lotterywest grants.

The May Superdraw is set to raise over $4 million to support the WA community.
