Western Australia has welcomed yet another big Lotto winner over the weekend with a Saturday Lotto Division One ticket worth $443,884 sold at Butler Central News.
Owner of the store, Mr Tao Zhang, was thrilled to welcome the store’s first Division One winner since opening a mere three months ago.
“Our customers say they have won many other Division prizes with us, but this is our first Division One – it’s so exciting how quickly it came,” Mr Zhang said.
“We have a lucky golden Buddha that our customers can’t seem to help themselves rubbing for good luck.
“The Buddha must be a genuine lucky charm!”
WA’s Division One Saturday Lotto ticket is amongst nine winners nationwide to share in the almost $4 million prize pool.
The weekend win brings the State’s tally of Division One winners so far this year to 42, with these winners sharing in more than $92 million worth of prize money.
Over 82,400 other WA players picked up a prize in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw, including six Division Two winners who each collected $10,231.
The win is the second Division One take home for City of Wanneroo this month. Could Wanneroo be the next hot spot going into a big week of Lotto?
There are three chances to win big this week with the OZ Lotto $10 million jackpot tomorrow night, Powerball’s $30 million jackpot on Thursday and Superdraw Saturday where $20 million will be offered.
Tickets are available until 6pm draw day from Lotterywest in-store, online or through the app.
