Building Community - How to apply

Expressions of interest (EOIs) are open now. If you have a time sensitive proposal, we encourage you to submit an EOI as soon as possible.

We encourage you to read the detailed grant program information and talk to our team to discuss your idea before submitting an EOI.

Click here to submit your EOI.

Our team will be reviewing EOIs regularly to understand the emerging needs and opportunities aligned to the outcome areas of this grant program.

We will contact you to give feedback and discuss next steps which may include an invitation to lodge an application.

For other projects, we may take more time to work with you to review and/or develop the idea taking into consideration other projects proposed for your region or key themes emerging from the expression of interest process. Please note that where an EOI does not respond to the program criteria, it may not be progressed to a full application.

Invitation to apply

Please note that if you are invited to apply following review of your EOI, this will take place in two parts.

You will initially be emailed with a link to complete Part A of your application. This will enable you to register with Lotterywest and receive an application number.

Upon submission of Part A, you will be emailed a link to complete Part B of your application. This will involve filling in an online form to tell us about your specific grant idea.
For more detailed information on the application process please refer to the How to Apply heading on the Building Community page.
