Our support in 2010/11: $12.6 million
Lotterywest maintains a strong relationship with the Department of Culture and the Arts, and through a statutory allocation of $12.6 million in 2010/11 (‘5% of net subscriptions’), supports our State's arts organisations to deliver an exceptionally high standard of creative initiatives to a wide range of audiences.
Organisations supported by the Department of Culture and the Arts include the Black Swan State Theatre Company, the West Australian Symphony Orchestra, the West Australian Ballet, the West Australian Opera as well as smaller organisations focused on encouraging appreciation of and participation in the arts.
