18 June 2016

WA has two new millionaires with the lucky winners each scooping a Division 1 Lotto prize worth $1,571,428.

The winners were amongst 14 nationally who shared in the $22 million prize pool.

Saturday night’s winning tickets were purchased at Here’s Luck Lottery Centre in Cloverdale and Nextra Rockingham City Newsagency.

Over 210,000 other WA players picked up a prize in the Superdraw, including 15 locals who pocketed a Division 2 prize worth $10,979.

Lotterywest spokesperson Paula Schibeci said it was a great result to see WA share in the Superdraw prize pool.
“A Division 1 win is a fantastic way for two West Australians to wrap up the financial year,” she said.

“It’s been a record breaking 12 months of Lotto wins in WA. The two new winners bring the tally of Division 1 winners in the State to 99, sharing in over $270 million worth of prize money.”

Lotterywest encourages all players who bought tickets in tonight's Superdraw to check them for the winning numbers 20, 13, 44, 2, 1, and 39.

It's not just the thousands of local winners that benefit from the Superdraw with over $4.3 million expected to be raised for the WA community through players purchasing tickets in the draw.
