Superdraw delivers three WA millionaires
It was a triple treat for WA Lotto players this weekend after three Division 1 Lotto tickets each worth $1,333,333 were sold in Saturday’s $20 million Lotto Superdraw.
Lotto luck was spread across the state with the three winning tickets sold at The Lucky Charm in Meadow Springs, newsXpress Ocean Keys in Clarkson and Wickham Newsagency.
The winners were amongst 15 nationally who shared in the $20 million prize pool.
In addition one lucky West Australian won Division 1 in Super66, scooping the entire $76,228 Division 1 prize pool.
WA’s Superdraw success brings the Division 1 winner’s tally up to 50 for the year with the lucky winners sharing in almost $96 million worth of prizes.
More than 175,000 other WA players picked up a prize in the Superdraw, including 26 locals who collected a $9,093 Division 2 prize.
It’s not just the WA winners that have something to celebrate, with Lotterywest raising an estimated $4 million from the Superdraw to help support the WA community.
A recent local beneficiary of this support was the City of Karratha who received a Lotterywest Grant of $2 million in February towards the construction of the Karratha Arts and Community Precinct which will provide a hub for local, regional and visiting arts and cultural groups.
$50 million worth of prizes on offer next week
Don’t miss your chance to add your name to WA’s Division 1 winners list with $15 million on offer in Tuesday night’s OZ Lotto jackpot and $35 million in Thursday’s Powerball jackpot.
WA players have until 6pm on the night of the draw to purchase their tickets from Lotterywest retailers, through Play Online or by downloading the Lotterywest App.
