Where's our Innaloo $1.4 million Lotto winner?
WA has taken out one of three national Division 1 Lotto prizes, each worth $1.4 million, in the weekend's Saturday Lotto draw.
WA's winning ticket was sold at Innaloo Newsagency, an outlet that has a history of big Lotto wins after selling a ticket worth $30 million less than two years ago.
Manager of the outlet Bozhi Li said he couldn't quite explain the run of Lotto luck, but laughed that good customer service might help.
"We always greet our customers with a big smile and wish them the best of luck; hopefully it helps. We are so excited to have sold another winning ticket. Hopefully it's one of our regular customers," Mr Li said.
The weekend ticket brings WA's tally of Division 1 winners for the year to 16. These winners have shared in prizes worth almost $25 million.
Lotterywest is still waiting to hear from WA's newest Division 1 winner.
WA to reveal luckiest Lotto numbers
In the lead up to next weekend's $21 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw, some of the luckiest Lotto numbers will be located across Perth over the next two weeks.
The six giant Lotto balls which are 4 meters in diameter will be launched on the South Perth Foreshore today.
To find out where the balls will be located over the next two weeks, visit the Lotterywest Games Facebook page which will publish hints each day.
Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said with WA players already sharing in $71 million worth of Lotto prizes this year, she was hoping luck would strike the State once again in the Superdraw.
"It's not just thousands of WA players that are set to take home a prize in the Superdraw, a ticket in the draw will also help to raise an estimated $4 million to support the WA community," she said.
Local community groups to receive this support include the Lions Club of Stirling which was given a $1,445 Lotterywest Grant for equipment to help them deliver their volunteering, education and fundraising activities.
