WA's latest Lotto winners plan second trip to Winners Room to claim Powerball $25M jackpot

1 October 2014

With a $25 million Powerball jackpot on offer tomorrow even our latest Saturday Lotto winners are keen to have their name on the sought after Division 1 winners list a second time.

A couple from Munster entered the Lotterywest Winners Room today to claim their $361,126.80 prize from last Saturday's Lotto draw.

The winning ticket was purchased from Phoenix Lotteries in Spearwood.

The couple was in disbelief after hearing that the same numbers they had been playing for 20 years had finally come up.

"I thought I was going to pass out in the newsagency!" said the woman.

The win has meant that the couple who have only travelled as far as Phuket can now fly a little further and fulfil their dream of visiting America.

"We've always wanted to go to America and now we are able to turn that dream into a reality," said the smiling winners.

The Munster residents are hoping to have that winning feeling again by taking out Division 1 for a second time in this Thursday night's $25 million Powerball draw.

"I'll be in the Winners Room again on Friday to get Powerball's $25 million!" The man laughed.

$25 million jackpot offer this Thursday

WA player's next opportunity to be a Division 1 winner is when Powerball offers a jackpot of $25 million tomorrow night.
Tickets for Thursday's $25 million Powerball jackpot can be purchased from Lotterywest retailers or from Play Online at until 6pm.

It's not just WA's Lotto winners who benefit following a Lotto draw, so does the entire WA community with 33 cents in every dollar returned to support the State's hospitals, sports and arts groups plus thousands of not-for-profit groups across WA.

The City of Cockburn is just one of the organisations to receive this support when they were given a $100,000 Lotterywest Grant in July this year to help support the construction of a trail which will provide access to two lookouts with extensive views across Jervois Bay and Cockburn Sound and encourage people to connect with the cultural and natural heritage of Cockburn.
