WA community is the big winner in tonight's $50 million Powerball jackpot

28 May 2015

Tonight's $50 million Powerball jackpot has been won by one player in the ACT.

Western Australian produced one Division 2 winner who will find themselves $119,603 richer after tonight's draw.

Lotterywest retailers around the State reported a hectic day selling approximately 550,000 tickets. The popular draw delivered 127,124 lucky WA locals prizes in Divisions 2-8.

Powerball had been jackpotting for five weeks and tonight reached the highest prize offered nationally this year.

Lotterywest encourages everyone who purchased a ticket in the draw to check if they have won one of the 127,124 prizes from the winning numbers of 39, 26, 31, 25, 37, 29 and the Powerball 2.

It's not just our winners that can celebrate tonight's draw, the entire Western Australian community is able to join them as funds raised from this draw has raised $3.3 for Lotterywest Grants to distribute to charitable and not-for-profit organisations.
