This year's largest jackpot on offer tonight!
Players all around Western Australia have the opportunity to play for the largest jackpot offered across the nation this year with tonight's $40 million OZ Lotto draw.
The jackpot is the result of no one being able to match the game's seven winning numbers for the past six weeks.
WA has already struck lucky in OZ Lotto this year, after one lucky local collected a $5 million Division 1 prize in February.
Manager of Padbury News and Post Joe Kempster who sold the winning ticket said his outlet had been referred to as the 'lucky hub'.
"We've been very busy since we sold the multi-million dollar winner in February. Lots of new customers have been coming to us to buy their tickets because they think it's the place of luck. We've even been nicknamed Lucky Joe's," he laughed.
Joe said he was anticipating a rush of customers and queues today, with everyone talking about tonight's $40 million jackpot.
"It's the largest prize offering so far this year - people are excited!"
More than 170,000 WA players have already taken home a prize over OZ Lotto's six week jackpot run. They have shared in prizes worth $3.5 million.
Local players have until 6pm tonight to pick up a ticket in the jackpot which can be purchased from Lotterywest retailers or Play Online at www.lotterywest.wa.gov.au
It's not just thousands of winners that will benefit through prizes; with proceeds from the game helping Lotterywest raise millions for the WA community.
Almost $4 million has already been raised for the WA community over the six week jackpot run, with a further $2 million expected to be raised in tonight's draw.
