Riverton's 'good feng shui' brings WA its seventh Division 1 Lotto winner for 2015

22 January 2015

Only four days after Western Australia took home a Division 1 win in Saturday Lotto has our State has done it again in last night's Wednesday Lotto draw.

The $1 million winning ticket sold at Riverton Forum Lottery Kiosk is WA's seventh Division 1 winner for 2015.

In November 2012 Riverton Forum Lottery Kiosk struck it double Lotto lucky in just three days by selling a $1 million winning Wednesday Lotto ticket followed almost immediately by a $324,696.90 winning Saturday Lotto ticket.

Owner of the store, Peter Sabatini is hoping history will repeat itself and his kiosk will sell another Division 1 winner in three days' time in this Saturday's Lotto draw.

"I have a good feeling about luck striking here twice in a row like it did before and then hopefully we can continue spreading wins to customers!" said Peter.

The kiosk was relocated only six weeks ago and Peter feels this may be what's pouring more good fortune to the store and its customers.

"I think we've found 'the' spot since we relocated. It seems to have better feng shui and could be the reason we've had a win so quickly after the move," said Peter.

Lotterywest is yet to hear from the new millionaire.

It's not just WA's Lotto winners who benefit following a Lotto draw, so does the entire WA community with 33 cents in every dollar returned to support the State's hospitals, sports and arts groups plus thousands of not-for-profit groups across WA.

The City of Canning were given a $20,000 Lotterywest Grant in October 2014 towards access costs associated with the City's 2014/2015 season of events. The events will be held in various locations bringing the community together until April 2015.
