Many more long weekends for three Easter Lotto winners in WA

7 April 2015

Three Western Australians have had a bumper Easter long weekend winning Division 1 in Saturday's Lotto draw.

WA took home more Division 1 winners than any other State on the weekend with winning tickets sold at DJ's Lucky Lottery in Hillarys, Shepherds Newsagency in Fremantle and Garden City Lottery Centre in Booragoon.

The three winners have scored themselves $525,190 each.

Owner of DJ's Lucky Lottery, David Humphry said he has had the store for 12 years and during that time sold eight Division 1 tickets to lucky customers. The last Division 1 winner sold there was only eight months ago in late July 2014.

"We will be telling everyone the news and we hope to sell another Division 1 winner in tonight's OZ Lotto jackpot!" said David.

Lotterywest is waiting to hear from the newest names on the Division 1 tally which has now hit 23 for 2015.

It's not only the three WA Division 1 winners who are able to celebrate the weekend's Lotto success with 33 cents of every dollar spent on Lotterywest products going back to support the WA community.

Local community groups that have received this support include the Whitford Senior Citizens Club (Inc). They received a grant late last year towards equipment that will enable the club to better deliver programs and activities that encourages their members to get involved.
