Kicking goals for WA once again, Soccer Pools brings in its fifth winner for the year!
WA's fifth Division 1 Soccer Pools prize for 2015 has been won by a local player over the weekend.
The mystery winner purchased their ticket at London Court News & Lotteries in Perth and will be collecting a $317,864 prize.
Michelle Watson, owner of London Court News & Lotteries, was delighted when she heard the news that her store had sold their first ever Division 1 winning ticket.
"We're still relatively new at this and have been working so hard. We always want to please our customers so we're excited for our winner and for selling the ticket to them!" she said.
Only one week prior, London Court News & Lotteries also sold a Scratch'n'Win Top Prize of a Toyota HiLux Ute on the $10 Beaut Utes ticket.
"We've been toasting our winners with champagne over the weekend. We're definitely on a winning streak," said Michelle.
WA has proved lucky in Soccer Pools this year with five local players taking home Division 1 prizes in the game, compared with two this time last year.
Over $230 million in Division 1 Lotto prizes has been shared amongst 95 WA winners so far this year.
It's not only WA's Division 1 Lotto winners who have reason to be happy following a draw with 34 cents out of every dollar spent on Lotterywest Games going back to support the local community.
The City of Perth Band Incorporated received the benefits of those who play Lotterywest Games with a $14,918 Lotterywest Grant in October. These funds were used towards equipment that will enable the band to continue to provide opportunities for volunteer musicians and live performances for the community.
