South Fremantle woman set to relax

A South Fremantle woman in her 50s spent hours in shock when she scratched her $75,000 prize on her $3 Kite Crossword ticket.

"I thought I couldn't have won, I never win anything. I nearly fainted when my partner double checked the ticket and confirmed the news," she said.

The woman said her win had come at a good time financially.

"I thought I would have to start looking for a full time job after taking some time off work, but now the financial pressure has been reduced. I can take another year off work," she said.

The woman, who purchased her ticket from Flutters in Fremantle, said she loved Crossword tickets as it provided her with her own little moment of fun.

Rockingham woman's $100,000 kiss

A Rockingham woman in her 40s said she nearly gave her local retailer a big kiss when she found out she was $100,000 richer.

"I went back to the retailer and got him to double check my ticket carefully. When he verified the news I put my head down on the counter in disbelief and told the retailer I could give him a big kiss right now," she said.

The woman scooped her prize on a $5 Shells Double Crossword which she purchased from Ballard's Lottery Centre and News in Rockingham.

"I'm planning on sharing the money with my children and also buying myself a much needed car as I don't have one. I have had some tough times recently so the money will me get back on track," she said.

Dreams become reality for Bayswater pensioner

A 55 year old pensioner from Bayswater was in total disbelief when he scratched a $75,000 top prize on his $3 Umbrella Crossword ticket.

"After all these years, I can now buy my dream toy.....a Harley Sportster Motorcycle," he said.

The regular Scratch'n'Win player purchased his winning ticket from Bassendean Newsagency.
