Weekend winner ahead of $50 million OZ Lotto jackpot

Western Australia took its share of the Saturday Lotto prize pool with one player winning a $666,666 Division One prize.

The winning ticket was sold at Princess Road News and Lotto in Balga.

Princess Road News' owner, Thai Nguyen said it was a good time to have a Division One win in the store and is hoping that the outlet would continue the luck in tomorrow nights $50 million OZ Lotto draw.

"We are very excited and very happy and hope that tomorrow we have another Division One win," he said.

Other Lotto players around the state have another opportunity to win a big prize.

Lotterywest spokesperson Sherrilee Kingston said "don't miss your chance to scoop a big prize in tomorrow night's OZ Lotto draw, and join the growing list of West Australians who have claimed a Division One win this year."

Tickets are on sale for this draw at Lotterywest retailers around the state until 6pm tomorrow.

Lotto winners are not the only ones who benefit from Lotterywest games; 32 cents in every
dollar spent is returned to Western Australian health, sports, the arts and a large number of charitable and community organisations.

Last year, the Edmund Rice Centre in Mirrabooka benefited from a $5,104 Lotterywest grant for completion of the refurbishment of the centre.
