Weekend winners ahead of $30 million OZ Lotto jackpot
Western Australia took its share of the Saturday Lotto prize pool with two players each winning a $666,666 Division One prize.
The winning tickets were sold at Shepherd's News in Fremantle and Good Fortune Lottery Centre in Maddington.
Shepherd's News owner Vanda Dore said it this was the fifth Division One win for the outlet in the last three years.
"We have had the outlet 19 years and for the first 16 years we didn't sell any Divison One prizes," she said.
"Now in the last three years this is win number five and we are very excited."
Mrs Dore said she was hoping her outlet's luck would continue into tomorrow nights $30 million OZ Lotto draw.
"It would be lovely. We are ready to sell a really big Division One prize," she said.
Don't miss your chance to scoop a big prize in tomorrow night's OZ Lotto draw.
Tickets are on sale for this draw at Lotterywest retailers around the state until 6pm tomorrow.
So far this year, 33 Western Australians have won Division One prizes in Lotto, taking home over $50 million in prizes.
Lotto winners are not the only ones who benefit from Lotterywest games; 32 cents in every
dollar spent is returned to Western Australian health, sports, the arts and a large number of charitable and community organisations.
Last year, the Fremantle Volunteer Sea Search and Rescue Group benefited from a $6582 Lotterywest grant for night navigation equipment.
