Get set for Saturday's $20 million Superdraw
The countdown is on for Western Australian Lotto players to scoop a big prize in this weekend's $20 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw.
This is the third Saturday Lotto Superdraw of the year and with $11.5 million in total prizes already given away to state players in these previous Superdraws, Lotterywest is hoping to see many more Western Australian winners after this weekend.
"So far in 2010, we have welcomed five Saturday Lotto Superdraw Division One winners into the Lotterywest winner's room who have shared in over $8 million," said Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagone.
"But what's also great is that the winners are not the only ones to benefit from these draws. This year's Saturday Lotto Superdraws have also raised over $6.5 million for the Western Australian community, with a further $3.5 million expected to be raised from this Saturday's draw."
Don't miss your chance to add your name to the state's Division One winners list. Tickets are available from all Lotterywest retailers around the state until 6pm this Saturday.
On average each week this year, Western Australian Lotto players have won about $6.5 million by playing Australian Lotto games.
Waikiki, Beverley and Noranda Division One prizes yet to be claimed
Meanwhile, Lotterywest is still waiting to hear from three Lotto players who are yet to come forward to claim their Division One prizes.
One outstanding ticket worth $500,000 was purchased in the Saturday Lotto draw on 10 April from Waikiki Village Newsagency.
The other two tickets were purchased from The Lucky Charm News in Noranda and the Beverley Newsagency in the Saturday Lotto draw on 1 May and also each hold a $500,000 prize.
"We're eager to see these prizes go to their rightful owners before too long, so we encourage everyone who purchased a ticket in either of these draws to double check their numbers," Miss Compagnone said.
32 cents of every dollar spent on Lotterywest games is returned to support Western Australian arts, sports, health and a large number of charitable and community organisations.
