Osborne Park millionaire cracks a smile

An Osborne Park man in his 30's has come forward to claim his Division One prize of $1 million from Saturday's $20 million Superdraw.

The man, who was in total disbelief but managed to crack a smile when he realised he had won, said he almost didn't have time to buy his ticket.

"I bought the ticket in a hurry and only just managed to make time on that day," the man said.

"I didn't really consider myself a lucky person before this. I have had a bit of bad luck in the past so it's great to have some of good fortune come my way."

The man said the main reason he was a regular Lotto player was because most of the money raised was given to the Western Australian community.

"I have seen first hand this money being directed back into the local community and helping people like children and seniors which is just great to see," he said.

The man said he would celebrate his Division One win by hosting a nice lunch and sharing a few glasses of champagne with close family and friends.

The winning slikpik 12 ticket was purchased at Flinders Square Lucky Lotto in Yokine.

32 cents in every dollar spent on Lotterywest products is returned to support Western Australian community, with the weekend draw raising about $3.5 million for the arts, sports, health and a large number of charitable and community organisations.
