$50 million Powerball jackpot - could we scoop our 50th WA Division 1 winner for 2015?

23 July 2015

Players around WA have the chance to play for the equal largest jackpot offered across the nation this year with tonight's $50 million Powerball jackpot.

If a Western Australian wins $50 million tonight it would not only make them the 50th Division 1 winner for 2015 it would also mean the largest prize won in WA Lotto history.

Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said retailers are set for a busy day today with over 590,000 tickets expected to be sold in the jackpot draw.

"$50 million for our 50th Division 1 winner has a nice ring to it so we're hoping to see good results for WA players tonight," said Ms Compagnone.

Local players can purchase tickets for tonight's draw from Lotterywest retailers or Play Online at www.lotterywest.wa.gov.au until 6pm tonight.

It's not just thousands of winners that will benefit from the draw through prizes; with proceeds from the game helping Lotterywest raise millions for the WA community.

In this Powerball jackpot run $8.5 million has been raised for the WA community. When you play Lotterywest Games, you support thousands of Western Australian community organisations.

Lotterywest encourages players to Play Responsibly and only spend what they can afford.
