$22 million on offer for Lotto players this Saturday
Hot off the heels from Western Australia's Lotto winning streak over the last two months, local players will get their chance to pick up a big prize when $22 million goes on offer in this Saturday's Lotto Superdraw.
Over September and October, Western Australia has produced 16 Division One winners who have shared in over $28 million of prize money.
Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said with the State's recent run of good luck, there is no better time to buy a Lotto ticket.
"Lady Luck has certainly been looking over Western Australia and with this year's Division One winners tally now at 66, we are hoping we can add more local winners to the list after this Saturday's Superdraw," she said.
The State's most recent memorable Lotto winners have included a $7.5 million OZ Lotto prize from September which was claimed by tourists passing through Geraldton after they purchased their multi-million dollar ticket from Geraldton Lottery Centre.
Then in October, some of Western Australia's Lotto winners were able to overcome their financial troubles when a Clarkson mother and son picked up a $6 million Powerball prize.
The Clarkson mother was only weeks away from losing her home. She said the win was life changing and would allow her and her husband to live an enjoyable retirement as well as buy a new set of dentures.
The following week, Mandurah City News sold two Division One winning tickets in just four days. First, the outlet sold a Saturday Lotto ticket worth just over $1 million to an unemployed Mandurah man who had been made redundant only a few months prior and had also lost his home a few years ago due to the economic downturn.
Then only four days later, the same Mandurah outlet sold a $4 million Division One ticket in a Wednesday Lotto draw to a ten member family syndicate from Rockingham.
Don't miss your chance to live your Lotto dream when and incredible $22 million Division One prize pool becomes available this Saturday (22 October).
Tickets are available from any Lotterywest retailer across the State or from Lotterywest's Play Online service at www.lotterywest.wa.gov.au until 5pm on Saturday.
Lotto winners are not the only ones to benefit from this Saturday's Lotto Superdraw; with $4.3 million expected to be raised for local hospitals, sports and arts groups, and thousands of not-for-profit and community groups across Western Australia.
