Shinju Matsuri – Festival of the Pearl

This year’s vibrant program is a wonderful showcase of Broome’s strong and diverse community, and the striking landscapes of the Kimberley coast.

Now in its 47th year, the festival is a special celebration of the town’s unique character, natural beauty and the pearl industry’s role in bringing together many rich cultures for more than a century.

Outback Fusion Festival

8-10 September, Newman

Cultural diversity will be celebrated in the 2017 Outback Fusion Festival which sees local talent and local cultural performers share the stage with headlining professional acts.  This year’s headline acts include Zap Circus, Grace Barbe and Ash Grunwald.  The Festival’s MC will be one of Australia’ premier Aboriginal comedians, Kevin Kropinyeri. The York Festival

The York Festival attracts thousands of people to WA's oldest inland town.
