Joondalup Festival 2017 encompasses the idea that anybody can perform, create and imagine. The City of Joondalup is excited to present two stunning works that can only come to life with community participation; puppeteering a large-scale marionette (String Symphony) and working with others to find the one string that will illuminate (or turn off) the CLOUD.
The Joondalup Festival continues to invest in the local Western Australian arts sector, providing emerging and seasoned artists the opportunity to take artistic risks and produce new work. It also strives to present international works to the Joondalup community to inspire and encourage cultural exchange between people.
