Once a year, George Street throws open its doors carnival style and invites visitors from far and wide to come and savour all it has to offer.
The George Street Artisan Market is renowned for its many quality, local art and craft stalls as it brings together a wealth of creative talent from West Australian artisans. See finely crafted jewellery, textiles, artwork, preserves and much more.
Families with children are always well catered for with a host of free activities in Glasson Park. This year the kids can have their face painted, paint images of the Australian outback for a community mural, hold a reptile, cuddle a baby animal, bounce on a castle or ride on a PonyCycle toy.
Street food from around the globe will be on offer at the festival including Spanish paella, Italian pizza, Malaysian satays, Moroccan shak shuka and tagines, Asian dumplings, French crepes, Japanese pastries, Australian Roo Rolls, slow pulled pork rolls and much more.
