Been dreaming about getting a new car? I think we all have experienced this at one time or another... that dreaded clunk noise, the jerking stop or the continual maintenance and new parts.
For this Balga man, the dream of owning a new car is now a reality!
He recently came in to our Winners Room to collect a $75,000 top prize he'd scratched on Word Play. And after telling us he'd had a really rough year including his car being damaged, he was excited to know he could now get a new ride. "It will be a nice birthday present to myself for my milestone birthday."
It seems the win was definitely the hand of fate - our winner actually had gone in to Princess Road News and Lotto to buy a $3 Word Play ticket, but they were sold out. "If they hadn't run out I wouldn't have bought the winning ticket! I couldn't be happier," he told us.
We can't wait to see him out and about in the suburbs of Perth enjoying his new car and the feeling of being a scratchie winner!
