Play together, win together, share together

Playing syndicates can increase your chances of winning and you share the cost of an entry, but what we really love are the stories of how people have teamed up and how they are sharing in the celebrations and prize.

Bigger is better
A Baldivis man put a call out online to rally a huge 40-member syndicate which stretches from Baldivis to Geraldton. His hard work paid off with a $2 million win in June’s Superdraw, putting $50,000 in each member’s pocket, which for one member would mean no more living off of rice and tomato sauce.

On the job
Many of us spend more time with the people we work with then our loved ones, so it’s easy to see why workplace syndicates are so popular! In May 2017, 15 workmates from Perth had a few reasons to call in sick the next day, their $4.2 million Saturday Lotto ticket providing a welcomed $285,000 of mortgage relief, school fees and everyday bills.

Fam Jam
You can’t choose your family, but you can choose if you will play syndicates with them. From all the winners stories we hear (and there’s a lot), its most commonly said that they will celebrate and share the prize with those closest to them – kids, mum, dad and even sometimes even the dog! A Lesmurdie family of five shared in a $1.3 million win in January 2017. “All of us putting in $2.50 each week has paid off! It’s just unreal and is going to make things so much easier for us all.”

Flying solo?
You can head down to your local Lotterywest retailer to start one up or join in on one already going. Back in May 2015 a huge $30 million OZ Lotto jackpot was won by a syndicate of ten, scoring $3 million each. And the win couldn’t have been any easier… it was left to the Lotterywest store owner to pick the numbers!

So what’s the moral of the story? Join a syndicate and do it fast for your chance to win in some of our upcoming draws. There’s a whopping $60 million worth of jackpots on offer this week with OZ Lotto and Powerball, or Saturday’s $20 million Superdraw on 28 July.
