How do you pick your lucky numbers? For one retired Mandurah couple, their playslip is filled with family members birthdays and past house numbers. They've been playing these numbers for around 30 years... and now they're celebrating winning $521,827! We can only imagine what an incredible feeling it would be to see those numbers they know so well get drawn - and to find out they'd won Saturday Lotto Division 1.
The wife decided to check the lucky ticket at a Lotterywest store on the way to do grocery shopping. When the retailer told her the wonderful news she had to abandon the shopping trip to get straight back home and tell her husband they’d just won Lotto! Her husband’s response to the news was “Well we can definitely pay the gas bill now!”
The winners described their experience as ‘hard to believe’ and said they feel a bit numb. We can see why!
