It's Set for Life's first birthday, and there's so many reasons to celebrate!
Wow time flies when you're having fun - and this is definitely the case for our newest lottery game (in almost 20 years!) Set for Life. Not only have we seen more than 1.6 million WA winners, we've given out over $35 million in prizes. Included in this are three lucky locals who each have won $20,000 a month for the next 20 years.
It's been a crazy first year with some exciting milestones, but one of our favourite moments is definitely celebrating our first WA 1st Prize winners in the game. There were cheers, happy dances and all-round excitement as we waited for the southern suburbs family to come forward. Now fast forward almost 10 months later, they told us they're continuing to enjoy their monthly $20,000 deposit which they describe as "life changing". They've paid off debt on their home and are planning holidays plus a brand new car!
One of our other WA 1st Prize winners has bought himself a new vehicle and is busy preparing for a trip overseas to experience his first white Christmas. Sounds like a magical way to end the first year of him being Set for Life. (Jealous anyone?)
