We love celebrating our winners. Big, small, families, friends, couples or singles. In our eyes, every win is an amazing story - but every now and then we get one which brings a little bit of a tear to our eye.
Our latest Saturday Lotto Division 1 winners definitely achieved this.
A farming couple from the Shire of Serpentine-Jarrahdale are dedicated Lotto players (how cute, they've been playing together for almost 40 years!) - and that persistence has paid off. They're now $2 million richer thanks to a ticket purchased from newsXpress Armadale Central!
While this alone is worthy of a smile, it's hearing their story that has made our hearts melt. 2016 was definitely a hard year for the couple, and they were actually in the process of securing a $300,000 loan to keep their farm going.
Now that's out the window and their life is about to get a whole lot easier.
