WA’s Superdraw success scooping two $4.2 million prizes

Two Western Australian players have each taken out a $4.2 million prize in last night’s $21 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw.

The lucky winners were amongst five from around the nation to share in the Division 1 prize pool.

The State’s winning tickets were sold at Vaucluse Newsagency in South Perth and Canning Vale Newsagency.

Almost 195,000 other WA players took home a Superdraw prize last night, including 31 locals who pocketed $8,232 in Division 2.

“We’re thrilled with this result and what’s more good news is that thanks to our players support in the Superdraw, we also raised about $4 million to support the WA community,” said Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone.

WA’s tally of Division 1 Lotto winners for 2017 has now reached 19. These winners have shared in almost $42 million worth of prizes.

Lotterywest is waiting to hear from the State’s newest Lotto multi-millionaires.

The winning numbers were 23, 20, 39, 16, 35 and 28. The supplementary numbers were 27 and 4.
