WA winners to enjoy life’s luxuries after Lotto Superdraw win

A syndicate of four from Busselton and a family from north of the river are the latest to win Division 1 following the $20 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw.

Each of the lucky winners received a $1,176,470 prize after purchasing their winning ticket from Callows Corner Lottery Centre in Busselton and Inglewood Amcal Civic News.

The family from north of the river said after they found out the exciting news they decided to retire from the family business. They also plan to help out their children and take a well-deserved holiday.

“Our 40th wedding anniversary is coming up and we’d like to go to Hawaii with the whole family,” they said.

A member of the winning syndicate of four said he checked his ticket 10 times before calling his friends to let them know the happy news.

“I checked my ticket and thought it couldn’t be Division 1 but it was! Then the four of us got together and had a few champagnes to celebrate” he said.

“It’s always a bit of fun to play Saturday Lotto. Now we can enjoy a bit of luxury in life like renovating our house, getting a new car and visiting family overseas.”

The happy winners said they have been long term players of Saturday Lotto and plan to keep their luck going.

Lotto luck also struck another 168,431 locals who won prizes across Divisions 2 to 6.

It’s not only WA’s Superdraw winners who get to celebrate a win with $283 million going back to the WA community last financial year.

Groups to receive this support include Busselton Family History Society Inc who received a $4,684 grant towards equipment to support public education about family history and genealogy.
