Western Australia has remained on its incredible Lotto winning run, taking home five Division 1 Lotto and 1st Prize wins in just five days; the most recent being the entire$10 million Division 1 OZ Lotto jackpot in last night’s draw.
The winning ticket was the only Division 1 winner from across the nation and was sold at Haynes Good News Agency located in Brookdale (City of Armadale).
The multi-million dollar ticket follows an incredible run of luck in WA over the last five days including a 1st Prize Set for Life winner who will collect $20,000 each month for 20 years, two Saturday Lotto Division 1 wins worth $785,465 and a Super66 Division 1 prize worth $104,763.
Mikaela Thompson from Haynes Good News Agency said excitement levels were high as it was the first Division 1 Lotto ticket the store had sold since opening about five years ago.
“We’re absolutely thrilled and still in a bit of shock. It’s just the most amazing feeling to know that we have changed someone’s life for the better and what a perfect time just before Christmas!” Mikaela said.
Last night, over 31,000 other WA players took home a prize across the other Divisions in the OZ Lotto draw.
WA’s tally of Division 1 Lotto and 1st Prize winners for the year has now reached 83. These winners have shared in almost $137 million.
WA players will have two more chances to win big before the year ends. This Thursday night a $15 million Powerball jackpot will go on offer and then on New Year’s Eve the biggest Saturday Lotto event of the year occurs – the $31 million Megadraw.
Tickets for both games are available from Lotterywest stores, through Lotterywest Play Online or by downloading the Lotterywest App.
When you play direct with Lotterywest, you’re not only in for a chance to win big; you’re also contributing to raise funds for the WA community.
Last financial year, over $281 million was raised for health, sports, arts and many community groups located across the State.
This includes a Lotterywest grant of $35,000 provided to the City of Armadale to support next year’s Armadale Arts Festival and Australia Day Event, offering a series of free community events and activities in the South East metropolitan area.
