WA shares the love of HOME and the $20 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw

WA is sharing all the love this weekend with the $20 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw and the Perth International Arts Festival’s Lotterywest Festival Opening HOME at Langley Park in Perth, the day before Valentine’s Day.

The Festival is the longest running international multi-arts festival in the southern hemisphere, with performances in about 350 events by more than 1,000 artists from Australia and around the world. Thanks to our players, Lotterywest has been the principal partner of PIAF for 25 years.

The $20 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw is another event that is also expected to excite WA Lotto players as they dream of how they can show their love to family and friends this Valentine’s Day.

The most frequented metro suburbs to pick up a ticket in the draw are Morley, Cloverdale, Perth CBD and Mandurah with our regional stores experiencing the rush in Bunbury, Geraldton, Albany and Kalgoorlie.

Galleria News in Morley sold three Division 1 winning Lotto tickets last year with those lucky winners sharing in almost $32 million in prize money.

Kayla Cappeau, Manager of Galleria News, said they have been very busy in-store in the lead up to the popular draw.

“We’re the place to get your Superdraw tickets! Our customers are hopeful that we’ll sell more big winners judging from what we pulled off last year,” she said.

“It would be great to have another winner here and make someone’s Valentine’s Day dreams come true.”

It’s not only WA Superdraw winners following tomorrow night’s draw that will have reason to celebrate, WA Lotto and scratchie players raised $283 million for the local community last financial year.

Lotterywest contributed $7.6 million to the 2016 Perth International Arts Festival and their Connect program thanks to those who play Lotterywest Games. The Connect program provides important opportunities to link the local and international artists together to explore ideas and share their expertise, which will contribute to the long-term future of the arts industry in WA.

Your last chance to grab a ticket for tomorrow’s Superdraw!

Lotterywest retailers are expecting to be run off their feet tomorrow when hopeful players make a last minute dash to get their Superdraw tickets.

During store’s busiest hour tomorrow it is expected that 620 Superdraw tickets will be printed every minute.
