WA strikes luck in Lotto not once but twice!

It was a winning Lotto weekend for WA after producing two Division 1 Lotto winners on Saturday night.

Luck first struck in Saturday Lotto with one lucky player taking home a $674,350 prize. The winning ticket was purchased from Here’s Luck Lottery Centre in Cloverdale.

On the same night, another WA player won a Division 1 prize worth $225,922 in Super66 on a ticket bought from Mends Street News and Supplies in South Perth.

For Here’s Luck Lottery Centre, it’s the third Division 1 Lotto ticket sold at the store in just five months. It follows a $1.5 million Saturday Lotto prize from June and a $2 million Powerball prize from September.

The latest prize, yet to be officially claimed, brings the Cloverdale store’s overall tally to 25 Division 1 winners over the last 13 years.

“We’re proud of our store having lived up to its reputation as one of the luckiest places in WA to play Lotto,” said owner of the Store Sel Selvendra.

“Selling three Division 1 tickets within the span of five months is an amazing outcome for our customers. I put it to good Feng Shui and clever customers.”

Mr Selvendra said syndicates were a popular option amongst his customers who played with their family and friends as it was a way to increase their chances of winning by playing more games.

“You can go fishing with a line and hook or using a net. Those with a net always do better,” he said.

WA’s tally of Division 1 Lotto winners for the year has reached 71. These winners have shared in prizes worth almost $115 million.
