Unsolved mystery: WA’s latest millionaire yet to claim win

As we countdown to the nation’s most anticipated Lotto event of the year, the
question on everybody’s lips is – where in the world is WA’s mystery millionaire?

The Division 1 prize winner is set to take home exactly $1 million in prize
winnings from Wednesday night’s Lotto draw after purchasing the lucky ticket
from Nextra Bunbury.

While the Bunbury winner has already secured their win, Lotto fever has struck
the rest of the State – with three huge Lotto draws on the horizon over the next
week.

Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said the countdown to tomorrow
night’s $30 million Saturday Lotto Megadraw is becoming bigger than the
countdown to New Year’s Eve.

“This is one of our biggest draws of the year and we expect about one in two WA
adults to pick up a ticket for the draw,” she said.

“We encourage local players to get their tickets early, with sales set to peak
tomorrow afternoon – when close to 40,000 tickets will be pumped out of lottery
terminals during our busiest hour,” she added.

“And there’s certainly no sign of things slowing down in the New Year – where
we’ll ring in 2018 with an incredible $40 million OZ Lotto jackpot on Tuesday and
a $35 million Powerball jackpot on Thursday.”

Tickets for are available until 6pm draw day from Lotterywest in-store, online or
through the Lotterywest app.

When you play direct with Lotterywest, you’re not only in with a chance to win big,

Tomorrow night’s Megadraw alone is set to raise over $5 million to support WA’s
health, sports and arts sectors as well as hundreds of local not-for-profit groups.
