The lucky State: 20 million reasons to secure your Saturday Superdraw ticket

‘Lotto’ is set to be word on the street in Western Australia tomorrow as we countdown to the $20 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw.

A busy day is expected across the State with Lotterywest anticipating the sale of almost 800,000 tickets in WA for the nation’s first Superdraw of 2017.

“Day of draw always proves the most popular. During our busiest hour of sales tomorrow, over 500 tickets will be purchased each minute,” said Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone.

“We certainly encourage local players to get their tickets early to avoid the peak expected tomorrow.”

So far this year, WA has delivered nine Division 1 Lotto winners - the latest win a $15 million OZ Lotto prize taken home by an unemployed Lathlain woman.

Tony Nguyen of Archer Street Newsagency said he was hoping lightning might strike twice after he sold the Lathlain woman her winning ticket.

“Our store has been buzzing with excitement since we sold the multi-million dollar winner her ticket,” he said

“We’ve had customers visit us from far and wide to get a share in our Lotto luck and are feeling positive we might be able to do it again.”

WA players have until 6pm tomorrow to pick up their tickets from Lotterywest in-store, through Play Online or by downloading the App.

When you play with Lotterywest all of WA wins! Players who purchase tickets in tomorrow’s Superdraw will help Lotterywest raise over $4 million to support the WA community.
