Superdraw success strikes WA with $1.9 million Lotto prize

One Western Australian player is set to have some SUPER big dreams become a reality after taking home a Division 1 prize worth $1.9 million in tonight’s $21 million Saturday Lotto Superdraw.

The lucky winner was amongst 11 from around the nation to share in the $21 million Division 1 prize pool.

WA’s winning ticket was sold at Belmont News in Cloverdale – a store no stranger to Lotto luck after selling a Division 1 Lotto ticket worth $200,493 just last month.

A further 191,849 other local players picked up a prize in the Superdraw, including 21 Division 2 winners who each collected $10,586.

Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said it was a great result for all of WA tonight.

“When you play with Lotterywest you’re not only in for a chance to make your Lotto dreams come true, you’re also helping raise funds for the local community and thanks to support from our players in the Superdraw, over $4 million has been raised to help WA,” Ms Compagnone said.

Lotterywest is waiting to hear from the State’s newest Division 1 Lotto winner and encourages everyone who purchased a ticket in the draw to check them for the winning numbers of 33, 39, 20, 23, 42, and 15.

WA’s tally of Division 1 Lotto winners for the year has reached 68. These winners have shared in almost $113 million worth or prizes.
